REQUIREMENTS FOR DONORS

Open Their Eyes is committed to radical church unity and radical church discipline.  Therefore, we do not accept donations from everyone.

All donations must be accompanied by a letter or e-mail in which the donor declares the following:

  1. The donor(s) is a repentant Christian who is actively engaged in personal evangelism and is making disciples or is actively trying to make disciples of others in obedience to the great commission. (Matt. 28:18-20)
  2. The donor(s) is committed to refraining from any damnable sins as per the following scripture references. (Matt. 6:14-15; 7:21-27; 22:37-40; Jn. 15:20-21; 16:2-3; 1 Cor. 6:9-11; Gal. 5:19-21; Eph. 5:3-7; 1 Jn. 2:15-17; 3:14-15; Rev. 21:8; 22:14-15; 22:18-19)  These sins include hypocrisy and cowardice in not regularly sharing the gospel (Matt. 7:21-27; 23:1-36; 28:18-20; Rev. 21:8), the sin of unforgiveness (Matt. 6:14-15), the sin of impurity (which includes masturbation and pornography addictions; cf. Eph. 5:5), the sins of sexual immorality and adultery (which includes remarriage after divorce while the first spouse is still alive; cf. Mk. 10:11-12; Lk. 16:18; 1 Cor. 6:9-11), and the sin of "factions." (Gal. 5:19-21)
  3. The donor(s) is committed to refrain from the damnable sin of "factions" (Gal 5:19-21) by not attending factional church buildings and by not identifying oneself with any factional name such as Baptist, Catholic, charismatic, Lutheran, etc. but only using the names for the saints that scripture gives us, such as Christians, disciples, saints, believers, etc. (Acts 11:26; Rom. 1:7; 1 Cor. 14:22)  Only house churches and city-wide gatherings of Christians are biblical. (Acts 2:46; 5:42)
  4. The donor(s) is committed to obeying the ethic of not associating with, not partaking communion with, and not eating with people who call themselves Christians yet who are engaged in any of the damnable sins mentioned in the scripture references listed in #2 above. (1 Cor. 5:11; Eph. 5:7; 2 Thess. 3:10)
  5. The donor(s) acknowledges in the writing of their letter that the sin of lying is also a damnable sin, so that potential donors should not lie about themselves in their letters attempting to be a donor. (Rev. 21:8; 22:15)

All donations without such an accompanying letter will be automatically returned to the donor based on the principle of the story of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 4:32-5:11.  Donations coming from unrepentant people will be returned because such donations disrupt the radical holiness and unity of the church. (cf. Joshua 6:15-7:26)

All donations coming from factional church buildings will be automatically returned to the donor except in the case that the donation is the entire sale proceeds of that church building because the decision-makers of a former faction are repenting from the sin of factions.
